We do the work.
You keep working.

Most backup providers hand you software and leave you on your own. We deploy the agent, configure schedules, monitor every job, and handle restores. You don't touch a thing.

Agent Deployment
We remotely install and configure the backup agent on your Windows, Mac, or Linux systems. You don't need to know what restic is.
Schedule Configuration
Daily, twice daily, or custom — we set it up and tune it. You never write a cron job.
Failure Monitoring
If a backup fails, we investigate and fix it — often before you notice. No dashboards to watch.
Managed Restores
Need a file from last Tuesday? Tell us what you need. No CLI tools, no snapshot IDs.
Client-Side Encryption
AES-256 on your machine before data leaves. We generate the password and share it with you — we retain a copy for managed operations.
Zero Egress Fees

Why not just use Backblaze B2 or S3 directly?
You can — B2 is about $6/TB/mo for storage alone. But then you need to choose backup software, learn to configure it, write cron jobs, set up alerting, figure out restores from the CLI, and pay $0.01/GB every download. Our flat monthly fee covers all of that plus zero egress fees.
What backup software do you use?
restic — fast, secure, open-source with deduplication, compression, and client-side encryption. You don't need to learn it.
What happens if a backup fails?
We get alerted immediately and investigate. Most issues are resolved before you know about them.
How long does a restore take?
Most restores complete within a few hours. Large restores (hundreds of GB) may take longer. No egress fees.
Do you hold my encryption key?
Yes — because it's a managed service. We generate a unique password per repository and share it with you. We retain a copy for operations. See Security & Privacy for details.

Backblaze sells you storage. We protect your business.

Deployed, monitored, and supported by real people. No CLI tools, no egress fees, no DIY.
